(provided by students, how the company should improve its report)

I would recommend making the report more on what the impacts are along their supply chain.

It misses some good visuals (graphics about how goals are targeted). It would help to understand the content better and would be also more attractive to read.

Spar should evaluate their actions better. The report seems very “conservative” by missing this and not communicating their entire company involvement in reaching their sustainable goals.

They should improve the English version of the report. This would lead on one hand to seem “more professional” and on the other to maybe reach a bigger target group (worldwide)

Visualization of progress towards the goal

More design work & an interactive online version of the report

Spar should rethink their CSR reporting, providing exact facts and figures to each material topic, also including the trend over years showing improvements and also failed goals, making it clear that they work transparent.

SPAR should also stay true to negative events in the company, the grass is not always green and therefore negative trends and behavior needs to be addressed.

Spar also needs to incorporate more transparency and responsibility in their value chain, hiding behind the number and complexity of products is not an excuse to negate the effects each of them has.

Spar also misses to identify and address stakeholders involved in their value chain, the provided stakeholder maps and graphics are insufficient and should be massively enhanced, providing more transparency.
