Recommendations:

(provided by students, how the company should improve its report)

When it comes to harm reduction strategies, Mondi could perhaps go more into detail about the negative impacts they may cause and how exactly they plan to solve this. Approaches are there but for some it may be interesting and important to gain further insights.

This is fine-tuning, but when they talk about their Stakeholders they could dig deeper and give more insights. How exactly are they involved and what are they doing to guarantee it’ll continue to happen.

Some of the links didn’t work and/or didn’t lead anywhere which can be frustrating as a reader and make Mondi seem disorganized. More detailed contact information of key persons and positions would also be practical.

As positively as I evaluated the design and playfulness, it could be advisable to tone it down a little bit. Especially depending on the target audience more fact based people could find it hard to find the relevant information with all the graphics. Personally however, I liked it.

Include a visual Materiality Matrix, which sums up the quantitative & qualitative data of SH-engagement and impact analysis (societal, economic, environmental) to showcase the relative priority of each identified material topic in a summarizing way.

Mondi should maybe aim for a less „playful“ design -> avoid the usage of too many colorful bubbles, columns, text fields, fonts -> they could make the report appear less factual and thus like advertising/pr content
