It is short and simple but describes the main core of CSR within one sentence.
Straight to the point but some more details will be needed to understand CSR as a whole.
It is short and not complete but it contains the import concept of “impact”
This definition is very short and only includes the main aspects of CSR. To give a full definition there is the need of more details.
I’m a big fan of simple and understandable definitions; for me the matter has been put in a nutshell
Definitely a short and simple definition. I can only agree with Philipp and Stephanie, for a holistic definition of CSR more details are needed.
This definition, in my opinion, is far too short and superficial. It leaves way to much room for interpretation, which can lead to misunderstandings. It does not create any basic understanding.
Albert Einstein once said about science: “Keep it as simple as possible, but not oversimplified.” In my opinion this definition is oversimplified because it omits narrow explanations to persons and groups who bear this responsibility on one hand and to those affected by their actions on the other hand..
I totally agree with you. For a good understanding of the term social responsibility further explanation would be needed.
Absolutely right to the point.
This definition does describe the core purpose of CSR, but doesn’t cover all aspects of it.
I agree with the others that the definition is very short. For me the term “impacts on society” is too narrow and the environment is missing for me.
As already said, the advantage lies in the brevity of the definition. Although I would recommend not only to consider this definition, because the content is very vague.
The definition is, like the others already mentioned, really short. In my opinion the European Commission should work on it because “impacts on society” should be descriebed in more Detail.
I agree with my collegues. It is a short and simple definition, but describes the main aspects of CSR.
I also agree with what the others commented. The definition is short and concise but describes the main focus of CSR. For a better understanding of CSR, a detailed definition is needed.
This definition is short and simple in its description of CSR leaving room for interpretation and adaptation.
Like this short and to the point variant a lot!
I also agree with my colleagues: This short definition implements the main aspect of an CSR concept, BUT it is too short to cover really essential and relevant needs of a holistic CSR definition.
For me this is the best definition to explain to someone quickly and easily what CSR is. It may be too short for an intensive discussion of the topic, but I think it’s good for a first understanding of CSR.
I like this short explanation. It gives you a good grasp of what is it about. But it misses also the sustainabled and environmental aspects.
I think this definition is straight on point and gives a brief idea of the concept of CSR.
Short, but straight. Everything in it!
From my point of view this definition is too short. The intern aspect of CSR and some other factors are missing.
It is a good definition, although they could have specified the “impact on society”.
In my opinion a very good definition. All important parts of social responsibility are taken into
account. Nevertheless, the definition sounds very general and does not provide a structure for
CSR.
