Recommendations:

(provided by students, how the company should improve its report)

Integrate more key facts & figures. Include more negative developments & problems to make report more balanced & authentic.

Use more state-of-the-art online tools and make the whole report in general more interactive.

Include an in-depths analysis of all stakeholder groups and also consider their impact on the company in your analysis regarding material topics. Present findings in an adequate matrix.

Name a specific person in charge for sustainability and include exact contact information in the responsibilities chart.

In order to give the report more credibility Egger could point out also unresolved problems and negative developments. This would draw a more balanced and realistic picture of the company.

Egger could provide more figures and define their goals clearer and measurable.

Even though the report is clear structured, has a lot of illustrations in it and there are a view links provided, the user friendliness could be increased with more interactivity, a short form for certain target groups and by placing charts so they fit on one page.

Additionally to the infographic about Egger’s value chain, they could include a text about their responsibility for their impact along the entire value chain. They could pay more attention to this part.
