The report should give a detailed overview of the company's sustainability efforts. Material topics should be defined and prioritized with relevant stakeholders. In this report, this has been done by the CSR department and stakeholders have hardly been involved. A higher level of involvement would be advisable.

The materiality analysis should cover also the society, which is currently missing (except for one short paragraph). A detailed presentation regarding the processes towards the prioritization of material aspects would be important to include.

The management approaches to every material aspect is needed in the report, as so far it gets only mentioned in the GRI index but cannot be found in the report.

In order to increase the credibility of the report, specific, measurable goals should be set for the material topics and the efforts to achieve these goals should be made transparent. An overview of the progress the company has already made in achieving these goals and which developments are positive or negative would be helpful in communicating CSR efforts in a more comprehensible and credible manner.

The entire report lacks the numbers, dates and facts. Although everything is discussed and tried to explain but where are the tangible evidence of the acts that have already been implemented?

An outstanding CR report should also feature goals that could not be achieved in time or topics that went wrong or got neglected.

The report should be much more transparent and open.

Voestalpine should discuss negative developments and unsolved problems in a more detailed way.

I would recommend structuring the whole report according to the material topics, as confusion came up on how the structure has been designed.

The point of stakeholders is covered quite good, whereas the process of involvement should be described more concrete.

An overview on the people involved in CSR actions and initiative within the organization would be very helpful. Further, it is necessary to show how the processes are acted out to work on the impacts the company poses on its environment.

The structures and processes should be presented in a more precise way.

Make the report more interactive.

It is recommended to use easy to understand language and to avoid branch specific language and terms. It was hard to understand the measures and some of the charts provided in the report because it was simply too specific.

The report can be supported by more visualizations and charts to help the reader to follow. A target group-oriented approach as well as interactivity would improve the report.

The layout of the report and the infographics were helpful in providing an overview of the information. It might be useful to illustrate the goals mentioned above so that the main sustainability efforts can be easily identified.

Especially for a big, international company like Voestalpine, more alternative ways of gathering additional information on topics of interest should be provided directly in the report to provide the reader with as much information a s possible.
