(provided by students, how the company should improve its report)

The report is well structured into the individual material topics. It would be good if the individual sections each contained an exact and SMARTEs (measurable) goal.

Problems and open issues should be addressed directly. Also possible measures and solutions should be presented.

The unresolved problems could be described in more detail in the forthcoming report.

Egger should show how their KPIs have developed over the years. Further, they could even show KPIs from relevant competitors or branche standards in comparison.

I could not find any people responsible for CSR in the report.

While reading the CSR report I wasn’t able to identify a dedicated CSR department or employees that are responsible for evaluating and improving CSR related issues.

Egger seemed to have taken the evaluation of stakeholders seriously. They even held a workshop to identify relevant stakeholders. But they only held that workshop once in 2016. As things might have changed since, it is important to repeat the evaluation of relevant stakeholders on a regular basis.

Egger should improve the level of involvement for some stakeholders.

Egger's influence on its stakeholders could be discussed in more detail.

Further criteria could have been used for the selection of stakeholders. The criteria chosen were "Interest in Egger" and "Influence on Egger", which makes sense. An outwards criterion such as "influence / impact by Egger" would have made the selection even more holistic.

Responsive design: The use of smartphones and devices other than computers has increased in the last years. If Egger wants to stay up to date they should provide their stakeholders with a report on responsive platforms. Another idea to improve the user-friendliness might be to offer a short version of the report with key facts and figures.

When interpreting the graphics, they should not try to justify the numbers nor try delude.

More information graphics could be added in future reports to make it easier to find the most relevant information. The PDF document could also be made more interactive, for example by at least linking the table of contents to the pages you are looking for.
