Recommendations:

(provided by students, how the company should improve its report)

The report could be improved by adding more graphics, images and illustrations that make the content more comprehensible.

The objectives should be formulated in a more measurable and specific way in order to enable evaluation. Which measures and KPIs are used to achieve the objectives?

A more detailed analysis of the responsibilities along the value chain should be added to give the reader more information about the impact here.

Increased focus on positive and negative developments also in the future, in order to make the report more future-oriented and thereby recognize problems.

It would be important to me if Casinos Austria would dare to deal more with the obvious negative risks of their business. Gambling addiction, fraud, fake money and customer debts,… These subjects are part of the social responsibility of the company!

The online report is a good and modern way to get an overview, but for a deeper analysis you would need a more detailed version with more additional information and above all a completely up-to-date version (2020).

Many explanations in numbers and percentages can only be found in the appendix. In some areas they are missing completely. Such facts should be found directly in the text, this would also make the report less promotional.

The value chain and the STHs of Casinos could be described and portrayed more transparent. Only very basic information is given, I would like to see Casinos leaving the surface behind and showing deeper insights here.

Keeping the CSR report up to date. We now have 2020 and we had to evaluate the 2018 report with only a strategy being made for 2020. I think Casinos should have the resources to publish new goals and a report every year.

They should explain the KPIs in more detail and communicate transparently how they can reach and measure them. This makes it easier to understand how they implement the KPIs, which also gives more credibility.

The value chain should be clarified. I would like to see the impact of the company as well as its responsibility along the entire value chain. It would be interesting to see, how they want to reduce their impact on the different stages.

Casino should also identify and point out unresolved problems/ negative development. In order to give the report more credibility, the balance between positive and negative effects should be more given.
